Plymouth

On the 6th June we held the first focus group in Plymouth. We are grateful to Help for Heroes for hosting us at their monthly drop in for women veterans and were joined by a fantastic group of women from across all 3 services.

One of the main things we spoke about was the imagery and identity of female veterans and whether they feel welcome at traditional veterans support services.

It was a really useful discussion and made all the more poignant by the fact that there were D-Day events being held at the same venue during the session, a timely reminder that women also served and continue to serve
